Appearance[]
Kris Verdego is a 27 year old man. He has blond hair, blue eyes, and three freckles on each side of his face. His hair is about medium length with the front windswept and the bottom spiked out. His hair extends down the sides of his face with sideburns.
He wears a black turtleneck sweater with a red vest over it, dark blue jeans, brown boots, and black circle sunglasses that obsure his eyes. Along with this, he is occasionally seen wearing a backpack that has wings built into it, which extend out with a pull of the strings attached.

Background[]
Kris Verdego was born in the year 2050 to his two parents (currently unnamed) in the state of New York. Eight years later his brother, Calvin Verdego, was born.
After some time, Kris, Calvin, and their father are seen living on their own in an apartment in the city.
Kris seems to have slight resentment for his brother. In prologue 3 (July 2nd 2069), Kris "wasn't in the best of moods" when his brother received a birthday party with many gifts and he only received a pair of sunglasses.
Despite this, however, Kris still seemed to care for his brother. In prologue 1 (March 8th 2064) he made sure to quickly clean up the damage they had done to their television so that neither of them would get in trouble. Along with this, he made some jokes about Calvin accidentally ripping his poster.
Sometime between April 3rd and 30th of 2074, Kris and his brother relocated to a safe location as the war between the Namulians and Humans had begun. After Kris had fallen asleep, Calvin made his way up to the top of the building, where he was spotted by the Amalgamation. Once awoken with no sight of his brother, Kris quickly began to search for him, finding him on the roof. He attempts to reach out for him but was saved by a green namu as the Amalgamation ate Calvin (along with the top of the building).
A few years later he finds Toxic, and invites Toxic to live with him. During this time, he became a police officer and began to work for Whitejack, the mayor.

Kris's brother. Calvin is 8 years younger than Kris.

Kris invited Toxic to live with him between prologue 6 (April 30th 2074) and Chapter 1

Kris met him though Toxic and Candy. They occasionally play cards together.

His coworker. Met Candy though him.
Whitejack[]
His boss, though Whitejack is friendly towards him.
Candy[]
Occasionally babysits for her adoptive daughter, Suroh.
Suroh[]
A child namu he occasionally babysits. In the afternoons he either stays with her at home or takes her to the city to see Candy.

He knows of him though Suroh.
Trivia[]
- Kris' Gun-Sword Hybrid resembles the Buster Sword from the Final Fantasy series.
- Despite this, surohhorus has that the resemblance is coincidental, stating that "I just think big swords are neat : )."
- Kris used to have a blue Beanie.
- Kris originated from a Pokemon Black Nuzlocke alongside his brother Calvin. He was a Herdier.
